I recently enjoyed a rejuvenating weekend at the Ship Inn in the charming village of Blaxhall. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming staff made me feel right at home, and I was thrilled to find a cozy chalet-style room complete with a lovely en-suite shower and even a small fridge-perfect for my beach snacks! The hearty three-course breakfast each morning filled me with energy for lovely dog walks on the Blaxhall Common, which was just a stroll away. I particularly appreciated the local vibe of the pub, where I indulged in some delicious meals, with the Crab and Crayfish Thermidor stealing the spotlight. The evenings came alive with music, a delightful surprise that added a vibrant atmosphere as I shared the experience with a group of friends who cherish both good food and good tunes like I do. With easy access to the stunning Suffolk coast and its quaint villages, the Ship Inn is a refreshing escape for anyone looking to unwind while enjoying the best of English pub culture.
